We’re open Monday to Saturday, 10 AM – 6 PM, and closed on Sundays.

Do you offer any classes or workshops at The Velvet Stem?

Absolutely! At The Velvet Stem, we believe in sharing the art of creating vintage elegance. We offer various classes designed for all skill levels, including floral arrangement workshops where you can learn to craft stunning bouquets and centerpieces. Additionally, we also host sourdough preparation classes, combining our love for flowers with the art of baking. How much notice do you need for custom orders?

Florals: Please order at least 2–3 days in advance. Sourdough: We require one week’s notice. *These orders must be confirmed before the notice period begins to ensure we can fulfill your request on time.*
Can I order online or by phone?

Yes, orders can be placed through our website, email or by messaging us directly via phone.
Do you offer same-day delivery?

Yes, we do offer same-day delivery, but only for select items. If you’re in need of something urgently, please reach out to let us know which product you're looking for, and we’ll be happy to let you know if it’s available for same-day service.
Do you offer gift cards?

How long will the flowers last?

Your florals can last up to 2 weeks with the proper care! To help them stay fresh longer, follow these key care tips: Re‑cut stems every 2–3 days at a 45° angle—this improves water uptake. Refresh the water regularly—every 2–3 days is ideal—to minimize bacterial growth. Remove leaves below the waterline to prevent decay and contamination. By following these steps, your flowers can stay vibrant and beautiful for up to two weeks—sometimes even longer for certain resilient blooms!
Where do you get your flowers?

We source our flowers from a combination of local floral farms and trusted wholesale flower distributors. This allows us to offer fresh, seasonal blooms while also ensuring a wide variety of flowers are available year-round. Supporting local growers is important to us, and when certain flowers aren’t in season nearby, our wholesale partners help us fill in the gaps with high-quality selections.

Yes, you can absolutely include a note with your floral delivery. When placing your order, simply add your message in the designated section at checkout. If you prefer, you’re also welcome to contact us directly, and we’ll make sure your note is included with the arrangement.

Do you have options for people with pollen allergies?

We do our best to accommodate customers with pollen allergies by selecting flowers that are low-pollen or pollen-free whenever possible. However, because some pollen may still be present, we cannot guarantee a completely pollen-free arrangement and are not responsible for allergic reactions. If you have specific concerns, please let us know so we can work with you to find the best options.
Do you have subscription flower delivery?

Yes! We offer floral subscriptions with delivery available to customers within 15 minutes of our Braselton, GA location. You can choose to receive your blooms weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly—each handcrafted with fresh, seasonal flowers. Prefer to pick up? That’s an option too!
What types of sourdough bread do you sell?

We offer a variety of sourdough breads including Jalapeño Cheddar, Plain, Blueberry Lemon and Italian Herbs. If you’re interested in a specific customization, feel free to inquire — we’re happy to discuss special requests!
Is your sourdough gluten free and vegan?

Our sourdough is not gluten-free and is not suitable for those with celiac disease. However, it is made with organic ingredients—just flour, water, and salt—and is naturally probiotic, which can be easier to digest and beneficial for gut health. Please note that it is not vegan, as it may contain traces of animal products depending on preparation. If you have specific dietary needs, feel free to ask!
Can I freeze the sourdough bread?

Yes, you can freeze the sourdough bread! For best quality, store it in a freezer-safe bag and keep it frozen for up to 3 weeks. When you're ready to enjoy it, simply thaw at room temperature or warm it up gently.
Do you bake your sourdough in-house?

Yes, we bake our sourdough in-house! Our ovens reach nearly 500°F, which helps ensure any germs are eliminated. We also maintain strict hygiene standards with constant hand washing and use super clean surfaces or parchment paper during preparation to keep everything safe and sanitary.
Can I pre-order bread for pickup?

Yes, you can definitely pre-order bread for pickup! We kindly ask for a 4-5 day notice and require that you receive a confirmation from us before your order is finalized. This helps ensure we can prepare your bread fresh and have it ready for you on time.
